Morning Service - 10:00am
Our Sunday morning service runs until approximately 11:30am and is held in the auditorium.
Following the service, visitors are welcome to meet with other church members over complimentary coffee in the new people's lounge, which is in the front window area of the foyer. Many stay to mingle over free coffee or feast on café food after church too.
Children
Parents' Rooms are labelled Play Zone and Quiet Zone and cater for children under 18 months. Access is from the West Wing foyer and carers are on duty from 10:30am. Both rooms overlook the auditorium and Play Zone includes a speaker to overhear the service and a small kitchen with microwave and coffee facilities.
Children remain in the auditorium for the first 20 minutes or so of the service before meeting their teachers in the foyer and heading off to their classes:
Junior children aged 18 months to 5½ years are divided into 3 classes in the West Wing.
Primary children from years 1 to 6 meet in the upstairs Function Room, breaking into smaller groups during parts of the programme.
Impact is for children in years 7 and 8 who meet in the separate meeting hall, behind the foyer.
During school holidays and long weekends, special children's programmes are run (except from mid-December to mid-January).
Café
La Vida Café is open following the morning service selling a varied array of tempting dishes, many freshly baked. The café re-opens again following the evening service.
Evening Service - 6:00pm
Evening services are from 6pm in the winter months (June, July, August) and 7pm the rest of the year. Life Church has a cycle of different services throughout each month to reflect people's different needs from a service and preferences of connecting with and worshipping God. The cafe will be open after each service for a time of fellowship and food!
First Sunday: Contact - Concert of Prayer. This is a prayer meeting with a difference, it involves plenty of worship time, praying corporately, in small groups and privately to see God move on our prayers.
Second Sunday: Collide - Youth Driven Service. The youth team drive this service but it is open to all ages (providing you are young at heart!) The youth band lead worship and the night generally involves multimedia, fun and a practical and motivating message
Third Sunday: Ignite - Worship and MInistry. This is a service designed to allow the Holy Spirit plenty of room to move while the congregation worships, has a time of communion and the altar is open for ministry.
Fourth Sunday: Refuel - Cafe Style Service. This service is all about feeding the body, mind and soul! The cafe/foyer is a relaxed setting which allows plenty of time for connection with people over coffee and food. From the front, we share the Word and testimonies to encourage and inspire
